Life Update || Empowerment Series

Hello beautiful people!

It’s been a while since I dropped in here to update the R&R blog!

So much has been changing in my life.. and it seems to be a theme echoing in so many others lives as well.

Change, transition, and cyclical movement is an innate part of life. We see it in nature- the ebbs and flows of the world around us are what create balance and harmony. However, when we go through our own seasons and changes, we often resist the process and create so much stress for ourselves. My message for you is to remember that you are the same intelligent, energetic force as nature. Relieve some of the pressure on yourself as you go through changes- leaning into them with more trust. Be flexible and simply allow the various parts of your life to bend and twist with these winds of change. How do you know that these changes aren’t here to rearrange your life into something greater? What if all of the things being left behind and swept away are a clearing of the old to make way for the new you have been asking for? As you trust more, you will feel more grounded and stabilized amidst the uncertainty and fear that may be arising. Take a deep breath in.. and trust.

Though the changes in my life were consciously chosen by me, they still bring moments of uncertainty. I decided to drive cross country with my best friend in July- spending the week going from Maryland to the midwest, to Colorado, New Mexico, and dropping her off in Arizona. From there I spent some solo time connecting with the Southwest where I spent some very special years of my life. A long weekend in San Diego with my cousin turned into 15 days. I have learned from this journey that having a plan is good- but you must be flexible. This goes for life as well. We can create an outline that works for us.. but if we do not tune into how we feel moment by moment we may end up repelling good opportunities that try to come our way- simply because they were “unexpected”. Well let me tell you friends… the very nature of life is one of surprise, of mystery, of surrender, and of adaptation. A plan that does not budge has the potential to be knocked over. The more flexible and open we are, the more light we allow in to help us grow.

Now, I have reached my current destination of Northern California. I am so grateful to spend time with my brother here and his beautiful girlfriend who is such a gem. I have put so much pressure on myself my entire life in terms of purpose, career, where to be, what to do.. and I’m so tired of it. I am craving a summer of just light-hearted joy and less thought. I have more time to focus now on my creativity, and nurture so many of the visions I hold for the next phase of my life. It is so important to me to have an outlet of expression for the messages and information I receive on a daily basis. Which leads me to this exciting announcement:

I am beginning a weekly video series sharing different topics focused around personal empowerment.

The first episode below is about mental reframing and how the language we use can either limit us or create new solutions among challenges.

Watch it now:

Thank you so much for the unconditional love and support. I am so grateful to be in a space where I can put in the energy needed to share at the capacity my spirit has been wanting to. I would love input on any topics you would enjoy to hear more about that would be helpful to you.

All of my love,

Lauren
